Here’s something I’ve believed long before I ever owned LynnPro.
Buy the merch.
Not just for customers — for your employees. And their kids.
When I owned pizzerias, I was constantly ordering shirts, hats, coats — anything with our name on it. I just liked seeing our brand out in the world. And you know what? So did the team.
People WANT to wear the name of the place they’re proud to work at.
When your team looks sharp, they feel like a team. When they feel like a team, they act like one. And when that happens, your business gets stronger.
At LynnPro today, our average employee has been with us 7 years. One team member has been here 18 years — started right out of high school. That doesn’t happen by accident. Culture matters. Pride matters.
We let our team order what they want — shirts, hoodies, hats — as long as there’s a little LynnPro logo on it. And it spreads. I’ve seen old employees’ family members wearing our gear years later. That’s free marketing you can’t buy.
It’s pennies compared to what you get back.
I also believe in onboarding gifts. When someone joins your company, make it special. Give them branded apparel. Give them something they’re proud to wear. Get their kids excited about where mom or dad works.
Years ago, when I told my wife (who ran our pizzerias) that I was tired of spending money on postcards, shirts, and promotions, she said something I’ve never forgotten:
“You can stop advertising when McDonald’s stops advertising.”
That stuck with me.
Don’t disappear. Stay out front.
Ask your team what they’d love to wear. Let them help choose it.
Build pride. Build culture. Build visibility.
When you build a team, you can conquer almost anything.
And if you need help bringing your brand to life, reach out — we’ll be happy to help.
